Master blender Don "Pepin" Garcia came up with 601 brand in 2006 as a new approach to the medium-to-full bodied stogie. Handmade in Nicaragua, the Habano (Red) line is dressed in a spicy, robust Nicaraguan Habano. It provides enough intensity to qualify as a full-bodied smoke, though it lacks the harsh finish typically associated with stronger cigars. Expect notes of dark chocolate and coffee and a hefty dose of spice.
