CAO’s newest offering, the CAO OSA Sol, gets its name from the farm in Olancho, San Agustin, Honduras in which the flawless, sun-grown (hence the “Sol”) wrapper tobacco was grown. These stogies provide a perfect balance of strength and smoothness, thanks to their proprietary wrapper, Connecticut Broadleaf binder, and meticulously-selected blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. And as with all of CAO’s cigars, they feature some of the best construction in the business.
Expect a medium-to-full-bodied smoke with a hefty pepper blast in the beginning, which is followed by flavors of coffee, caramel, and cream with subtle floral undertones. Top that and the excellent construction off with one of the coolest boxes we’ve ever come across, and you’ve got what we expect to be a huge hit from the CAO team.
