The first and only sealed, modular, electronic humidifier. Cigar Oasis automatically regulates and maintains perfect humidity. Can be used with virtually all existing or new humidors without modification to the humidor. Cigar Oasis was designed by recommendations made by cigar aficionados to solve the cigar humidification problems everyone experienced using passive sponge type devices. It is a self-contained unit made up of two pieces, the upper control unit and the lower replaceable distilled water cartridge. The two units slip and lock on each other and once you plug it in, the unit is ready to operate. Now a battery pack (optional) slips and locks onto the water cartridge. Unplug the AC power and plug in the battery pack for operation anywhere. The Cigar Oasis filters and circulates the air inside the humidor eliminating musty odor commonly associated with well sealed humidors. The unit recovers radidly to the controlled humidity after the humidor has been accessed. Fully automatic, virtually maintenance-free, battery or outlet powered, distilled water only, accurate humidity control, integral humidity indicator, low water and battery indication. Features: Totally unattended long term, reliable operation. Sealed 100% distilled water catridge with mold retardant, refillable and or replaceable. Unique sensor measures humidity and microprocessor controller operates quiet fan to circulate humidified air within the humidor to exact desired humidity to within 1% RH. Control unit powered from any wall outlet or battery pack with AA batteries. Factory set at 70% RH but able to adjust with up or down buttons to your personal taste. Integral hygrometer displays humidity 30 seconds before opening humidor to indicate true humidor humidity. When low water and low battery conditions exist, display will indicate alert. Approximately six months of unattended operation without refilling or replacing sealed cartridge in a well-designed tight fitted humidor with 75-100 cigars and opening three or four times a week. 3.5in x 2in x 6in with battery pack and 2in x 6in x 6in with AC power.
