Do the Licenciados in a Bundle have same rating as the ones that come in a box with the labels?
The Licenciados Segundo Toro/Churchill - 6 x 50—Bundle of 25, are Licenciados' "Seconds" (Segundo is Spanish for "Seconds").
In the regular production line of a cigar there are cigars that are deemed unsaleable under the manufacturer's cigar name or line name due to minor imperfections. These imperfections might include small blemishes on the wrapper, too long or too short in length, or an imperfection in the shape or color. These cigars, deemed "seconds" have the same tobacco as their higher end cigars that passed inspection and are still smokable.
So while the bundles might not have the same rating as the banded, boxed versions, they may be a great way to save a couple bucks while still enjoying the classic Cuban taste of Licenciados. Answered on 2011-02-28
