Altadis U.S.A.’s Cabinet Seleccion series is a tribute to the Cuban tradition of packaging ribbon-bound cigars in wooden, sliding-lid cabinets. Montecristo Cabinet Seleccion is made with a finely-tuned blend of tobaccos from five different countries. Each starts with a filler blend from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Peru, followed by a rich Connecticut Broadleaf binder, and is finally encased in an oily, robust, Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper leaf. These well-constructed stogies are complex and aromatic with notes of cedar, black pepper, and baking spice plus a hint of caramel sweetness.
