Founded in 2003 by the partnership of two friends, United Tobacco has released nothing but quality products. Erik Espinosa and Eddie Ortega have both been involved in the cigar industry in various roles for quite a few years. Erik worked his way up from a cigar warehouse worker to being a regional sales manager in Florida. He's represented everyone from Gurkha to Drew Estate. Eddie Ortega on the other hand, was introduced to the cigar industry when he married one of Rolando Reyes' daughter. Reyes was one of the master rollers at Puros Indios. It's no surprise, then, that he was operations manager for them for quite a while, until he became President of World Cigars. One of the smartest decisions that United Tobacco made was to work with Master-blender Pepin Garcia. When they first launched the 601 cigars, he wasn't quite as well known as he is today. Their latest addition to their already well-established line of cigars is the Cubao cigar.
