Although the Diamond Crown Maximus cigar is more powerful, and a full bodied cigar, it is still equally as complex as the mild-bodied Diamond Crown cigar.
Released at the 2003 RTDA show, the Diamond Crown Maximus caters to the new full-bodied cigar craze, but does it at a super-premium level. The cigars are definitely for the smoker who enjoys a big cigar, as none of the ring gauges are lower than a fifty. The Diamond Crown Maximus cigar employs a delicious El Bajo Sun Grown Wrapper, which is exclusively grown by the Oliva factory in Ecuador. Using the highest-grade premium tobacco from the Dominican Republic for it’s binder as well as it’s filler, the Diamond Crown Maximus is the complete package. Not only did the Diamond Crown Maximus have a great deal of hype behind it’s release, but Cigar Aficionado later gave it a 90 rating, listing it at the top of the line for premium full bodied cigars.
