Stock Availability

How accurate is your online inventory?

In response to overwhelming customer demand and as one of our many efforts to provide the best shopping experience, we have added an indication of inventory to our website. Stock availability on BestCigarPrices.com is over 98% accurate but is not a guarantee of any kind. "In Stock" = This item is in stock ready to ship. If you order a quantity greater than the quantity we have currently in stock, our site will prompt you to choose between reducing your order or backordering the remaining quantity. Items that are currently out of stock will have a red box showing our estimated arrival prediction.

Please see the arrival prediction section of the FAQ for more details on arrival predictions. Please remember that our inventory is automatically updated in real time based on live customer purchases. It is possible for another customer to claim an item at any time before you finalize your order. If an inventory error is discovered during warehouse processing we will contact you.

How accurate are arrival predictions, such as "less than a week" or "1-2 weeks"?

Please be aware that the availability predictions for items that are not in stock are an estimate, not a guarantee. The estimate is intended to provide you with a typical wait time for a specific item. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control these times can vary widely in unique cases, however we use our experience and the best information we have available to provide the most accurate estimate possible. "Less than 1 week" = This item is out of stock, but is typically re-stocked within one week. "1-2 weeks" = This item is out of stock, but is typically re-stocked within 1-2 weeks. "Out of stock" = This item is out of stock, and we do not have a specific time of availability. In most cases, the manufacturer has not supplied BestCigarPrices with an arrival prediction.

What happens if an item on my order is out of stock? Do I have to wait or pay extra for shipping?

In the event you order multiple items and one or more items are out of stock, we will ship the in stock items immediately, and ship the backordered item(s) as soon as they become available. Backorders will be shipped at no additional shipping fee via BCP Ship Saver*

If you would like your backordered items to have expedited shipping, please call us at: 1-888-412-4427. We will be able to accommodate your request, however there will be an additional shipping charge due to the high cost of expedited shipments.

*BCP Ship Saver option will be delivered by either UPS or USPS as determined by your local UPS hub. Delivery addresses must be able to receive packages from either carrier. BCP Ship Saver is only available to addresses within the Continental U.S.

If any of my item(s) are on backorder, what will happen to them?

If you order an item that is out of stock, you will be added to our first-come first-serve waiting list. We ship backordered items automatically as soon as they arrive, typically the same day. We are aware that for some rare items, backorders can take an extended period of time to arrive, and your shopping intentions can change during the waiting period.

We want you to feel comfortable and confident to be on our waiting list for rare and special items, so we employ the following procedures to ensure satisfaction: If you have been on backorder for more than 60 days we will call you when your item arrives before shipping or charging you to confirm that you still wish to receive it. In cases where we cannot reach you directly, we will leave a voice message and hold the item for 7 days. If you do not contact us within the 7 day period, your order will be canceled. We make every effort to honor the price that was confirmed at the time of your order for backordered items. However our suppliers change prices without notice, therefore in some rare cases when we re-stock an item the cost has gone up and we are no longer able to honor the old price. We will contact you by phone prior to shipment in the unlikely event of a price increase on your backordered item.

What happens to "Special Order" items?

Special order items are handled just like regular back orders. There are no additional fees or charges. The price you pay is the item price listed plus regular shipping charges. Special order items are typically received and shipped within 1-3 weeks, but these times can vary. Special order items are high quality, good value products that we can usually obtain quickly and easily but do not sell in sufficient enough quantities to warrant maintaining a consistent stock.

If you place your order for one of our special order items, you will be placed on backorder for it. We will then order it from our suppliers and ship it to you as soon as we receive it into our warehouse. In almost all cases, your credit card will not be charged until the item has shipped. If pre-payment is required, we will contact you after we have received the order. If you have any other questions, or would like a more detailed shipment date prediction, call us at 1-888-412-4427 during normal business hours and we will be happy to provide a time estimate if possible.

Why did I receive a substitution for a Sampler or Bonus Item?

Occasionally due to order volume and stock availability, we reserve the right to substitute a bonus item or an individual cigar in a sampler pack. We make these substitutions with the most similar in-stock item of equal or greater value.
