Kahlua Cigars
Kahlua, the well known Mexican liquor, has been produced since 1936. Perfect by itself, or with coffee, Kahlua was an ideal choice for General Cigars when they decided to introduce a new infused cigar line. When one thinks of infused cigars, the name that comes up is Drew Estate, and General went right to Jonathan Drew for their blend. After many test blends that were produced at the Drew Estate factory in Esteli, Nicaragua, General Cigar and Jonathan Drew decided on a unique blend that they would call, delicioso. Kahlua cigars have been widely popular upon their first release, and we see Kahlua cigars fly out the door daily. Customers can’t seem to get enough of the match of Drew Estate with the famous General Cigar. Be warned, these cigars aren’t your traditional smoke that you’re used to from General Cigar. You can’t compare a Punch Double Corona, or a Macanudo Hampton Court Café, to a Kahlua cigar, it’s just not the same. But, for someone who wants to try something different, or someone who is a fan of infused cigars, Kahlua cigars are the perfect fit.
Kahlua cigars use an elegant, mild, Connecticut Shade wrapper, rich Nicaraguan tobacco that Drew Estate is famous for, as well as a luscious Indonesian Sumatra binder. All Kahlua cigars come in traditional sizes, as well as tins to appease any kind of smoker. We here at BestCigarPrices.com realize the demand for these cigars and have even created a three cigar sampler pack for the smoker who doesn’t want to splurge on a full box. Kahlua also offers the delicioso cigarillos for the smoker who doesn’t have the time, or desire, to smoke a five or six inch cigar. Those of you who have had a Drew Estate cigar, know that it’s like something you’ve never had before, and whether it’s with Acid, Natural, or Java, quality is not an issue when it comes to Jonathan Drew’s products.
Unfortunately, as of March 31st, 2008, the union between General Cigar and Drew Estate has ceased, and production on Kahlua cigars has ended. The owner of the registered Kahlua brand has decided not to continue production on Kahlua cigars. Both companies, although saddened by the loss of this successful blend, vow to move forward. Drew Estate has announced that they will fill the void of Kahlua cigars by making a new coffee infused blend that picks up where Kahlua cigars left off. They intend to improve on the Kahlua blend and are excited to bring this new cigar to you. General Cigar has also stated that they are still committed to the flavored premium cigar industry, and with the recent acquisition of Havana Honeys, they are moving in the right direction. BestCigarPrices.com intends to bring you Kahlua cigars as long as we can. We’re trying to stock our warehouse with as many boxes as we can find, so that you won’t have to worry about not being able to get a Kahlua cigar anytime soon. Our stock will eventually run out and we encourage you to act soon and buy a tin, box, or sampler pack of Kahlua cigars before they’re gone for good!
