La Casita Criolla, which translates to “the Little Native House,” is one of Pete Johnson’s newest offerings. These medium-bodied stogies are a rare breed: not only are they surprisingly affordable, but they’re also made with 100 percent American tobacco. That’s right—every component of this cigar is comprised of Connecticut Broadleaf tobaccos, grown right here in the good old U.S. of A.
While an all-Connecticut Broadleaf cigar sounds like it’d be a peppery, almost-unbearable powerhouse, this is not the case. These cigars are medium -bodied and use tobaccos from multiple primings, including viso, seco, and ligero, to ensure that the smoke is not overpowering. Expect a spicy yet smooth smoke with notes of cocoa, wood, espresso, and cream with some substantial pepper on the finish. As with every Tatuaje cigar, you can expect a phenomenal burn and easy, generous draw every time you light up.
PLEASE NOTE we are quick to adapt to consumer demand. If there are new
cigars that have just received a high rating, we will be one of the first to
offer them
