Second Growth

Second Growth was born from a passion for both the finest wines and the finest cigars. As evidenced by its opulent packaging, which is handmade in New Hampshire from pieces of Bordeaux wine barrels, these stogies were made to pair with Bordeaux or American meritage wines.

Henke Kelner, the master blender behind many of Avo and Davidoff’s blends, gave the Second Growth cigar a hybrid Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, hybrid Dominican binder, and carefully aged Dominican and Honduran fillers. This blend, along with a subtle infusion of Bordeaux from the box, makes for a smoke that is nothing short of profound with notes of cocoa, leather, and spice that mesh nicely with the dark fruit character of the wine.
