Arkansas Proposes Statewide Smoking Ban
Arkansas HB 2119 would modify the state’s current laws regarding smoking and its exemptions for cigar bars, cigar shops, smoking lounges, outdoor restaurants and other establishments. The bill was filed on Monday afternoon and first read on Tuesday, March 12th. It has already been submitted to the Public Health, Welfare and Labor Committee, and a hearing is to be held today, March 14th.
An Action Alert has been issued by the Cigar Rights of America for all cigar rights advocates to contact their local officials and urge them to reject the bill.
