Hi, this is Brian at Best Cigar Prices, and today I’m reviewing Duality.
Duality is an exclusive blend for Best Cigar Prices, put together by Hochi Blanco in the Dominican Republic at its factory famous for producing Aging Room and SWAG. It features a dual wrapper, one a San Andreas Maduro, and the other an Ecuadorian Connecticut. The binder is Criollo 98, and the fillers are Criollo 98 and Piloto Cubano.
This cigar started off with hot red pepper spice and chewy, nutty earth. The retrohale had a raw lumber note that is present in the cold draw. Later on in the cigar, the pepper mellows with a savory and subtle bitterness moving in on the finish. In the last third, a powdered sugary sweetness coats the entire profile. This stick had a delicious nut and earth flavor with plenty of sweetness and I can easily see it becoming a mainstay in my humidor.
