BCP News Brief – Nestor Miranda Gets Two Limited Cigars For 70th Birthday
We know that turning 70 is a big deal but it’s not every day you get a unique, limited edition package of cigars rolled in your honor.
These limited edition cigars will be rolled in two different factories and are to be packaged in a 12 count humidor in the shape of a car. Six of the cigars are made by La Aurora in the Dominican Republic and six made by My Father Cigars in Nicaragua.
According to Cigar Aficionado, Miami Cigar & Company wanted to do something different for their founder and director. “We wanted to do something special for Nestor and create a keepsake at the same time,” said Miami Cigar vice president Jason Wood. “Nestor has always strived for the best and we believe this cigar is up to the challenge.”
These special cigars are limited to only 1,000 boxes, with the first 700 to be released on Miranda’s birthday. My Father Cigars put together a 7 ½ x 40 ring gauge Lancero that features a Nicaraguan habano wrapper, binder and filler. La Aurora’s blend is a 7 ½ x 40 as well but features a Mexican San Andres wrapper over an Ecuadoran Sumatra binder and blend of fillers from Nicaragua, Brazil and the Dominican Republic.
These unique cigars will go for about $14 per stick or $165 for the classic box.
