PDR Acme Seleccion No. 1 Cigars

A classic brand dating back to the late 1800s, Acme cigars have been resurrected once again, this time by Abe Flores and the crew at PDR cigars.

PDR Acme Seleccion Robusto (5 x 50), box of 10 cigars

Originally established as a Cuban cigar line sold in the United States, Acme enjoyed a few decades of success before being discontinued in the 1930s. After a long period of dormancy, the once-popular brand was revived as a Nicaraguan blend in 2015 before being discontinued again after only a short run. They say that the “third time’s a charm,” and judging by the taste of the newly re-launched PDR Acme Seleccion No. 1, I’m inclined to agree.

Developed by Flores and produced at PDR cigars in Tamboril, Dominican Republic, this modern iteration of the ACME brand is rolled using an eye-catching Connecticut-seed wrapper leaf grown in Ecuador around an Indonesian binder and a filler mix consisting of Dominican seco and ligero tobaccos blended with authentic Connecticut Broadleaf. Rounded and balanced yet flavor-forward, the medium-bodied ACME Seleccion No. 1 is smooth in woody taste with hints of toasted bread, nuttiness, and a subtle sweetness for a classically entertaining flavor experience.

Offered in boxes of 10 cigars adorned in old-school artwork in your choice of three unique sizes, the ACME Seleccion No. 1 is here to ring in a new era of excellence. Grab yours at an unbeatable discount here.
