News Brief – E.P. Carrillo To Release New Wave Connecticut Short Run 2012
Ernesto Perez-Carrillo has announced the release of a new “Short Run” cigar that is set to hit shelves sometime within the month of February, according to Cigar Aficionado.com. The cigar, called the E.P. Carrillo New Wave Connecticut Short Run 2012, combines elements of the company’s highly successful New Wave Connecticut and Core Maduro lines. The new stogie features an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper (the same wrapper found on the New Wave Connecticut), and a Connecticut broadleaf binder (which is the wrapper on the Core Maduro), along with the Nicaraguan and Dominican filler blend found in the Core Maduro.
The Short Run 2012 will be available in three sizes: Reinados(6 ¼ x60), Invictos(5 7/8 x52), and Exquisitos(4 7/8 x50), in boxes of 24, and will be limited to 1000 boxes of each size produced.
E.P. Carrillo cigars was formed in 2009 after Carrillo left La Gloria Cubana, the brand he had built up since the 1980’s, to venture out on his own and create the “next great cigar”. Since their debut, E.P. Carrillo cigars have been greatly celebrated, and have earned various high ratings from notable sources. Keep an eye out for the E.P. Carrillo New Wave Connecticut Short Run 2012 to hit our shelves sometime in the very near future.
