Tom Lazuka on Asylum Cigars (video)
Tom Lazuka, Co-Founder of Asylum Cigars, took a few minutes during the 2013 IPCPR Trade Show in Las Vegas to talk to us about the different blends available from Asylum Cigars.
Hi, I’m Thomas Lazuka. I’m the Co-Founder of Asylum Cigars. We’re part of Fabricas Unidas. Myself and Christian Eiroa had put this brand together about a year ago. We launched in July of last year. I’m going to tell you about a few of our products that we have existing today. We have a few different blends. We have the Asylum Premium cigar, which is a medium to full body Nicaraguan Habano wrapper with a Maduro binder, so it’s a nice, rich, full body Nicaraguan cigar at a great price point. Our number one selling cigar is our Asylum 13. It is known for big ring gauges. We do a 70×7 and 80×6. We also do a 50×5 and a 60×6. That’s a full body Nicaraguan puro, real peppery on the front end, nice, rich finish on the back end.
