The Anejos cigars from Arturo Fuentes are an item of true love and devotion from the first light to the disappointment of having to put it down. The #55's like its cousin the #77 Shark the flavor is there, waiting for each level of discovery as you smoke it. At first it tastes sweet and has chocolate and leather notes but then the pepper comes in and vanilla notes dabble into the flavor. It's a nice smoke from beginning to end so if you are looking to try one and can't find a Shark...you won't be disappointed.

The Anejos are crazy good. I feel like a kid sneaking a piece of spiked dark fruitcake every time I have one. Words don't begin to describe the wonderful taste. Turn off your phone and try one.

"Sweet" is the first word that comes to mind when reviewing this one, but it's a natural sweetness more so than a fake one. This is mild, with light pepper - less pepper than an Opus X (which supposedly uses the same filler). Actually, I prefer this one over the much more expensive Opus X (not saying it's more complex or anything, just fits my desired flavor profile better).
Overall, a decent smoke - not exceptional, but worthy of being in the rotation.

great cigar, sometimes hard to find. BCP stocks what they sell and ship fast.
