Inspired by American motorcycle culture, the Steel Horse piles on Honduran, Nicaraguan, and Dominican long-fillers and a Brazilian Arapiraca binder under a Connecticut Habano Oscuro wrapper for a full-throttle ride through notes of dark wood, cocoa, coffee, bold black pepper, and more. Complex enough for a connoisseur, and heavy enough for a Hell’s Angel, the Steel Horse fires on all cylinders.
This is a larger Flathead; round vs. box pressed. The burn is excellent and the strength is full. Ash color is mostly white and holds to 2 inches. I keep these and the smaller Flathead "Sparkplug" in the humidor depending on how much time I have to smoke! Honestly, I guess I lack the pedigree to describe the flavor notes like I read on reviews; I've never smoked leather or earth or coffee, etc., but I can tell you that this is a very decent cigar that smokes well!
