Injecting a new vibrancy into some of the world's most respected cigar brands, the Rare Select series is a collection of modern expressions blended to accommodate today's sophisticated palates. Medium to full in body, the CAO Rare Select is handcrafted in Nicaragua using a sun grown Honduran wrapper over a sturdy Honduran binder and a hearty mix of aged Honduran and Nicaraguan filler leaves. The resulting smoke is creamy and aromatic with floral character and profound undertones of leather, pepper, and exotic spices - a perfectly bold combo of strength and dynamic flavor.
A fine smoke. I like the size, and bolder flavor. It's not "greasy" and yet has a bold medium flavor.
The burn is a bit inconsistent between cigars, and some, not all, like to canoe or tunnel.

The cigar burnt evenly with a cone shaped ask and were extremely fresh.
