If you’re looking to truly treat yourself or any other cigar-lover, you can’t go wrong with the Muestra de Saka Unicorn By Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust. One of the most meticulously-devised cigars of all time, the Unicorn entailed creator Steve Saka painstakingly sorting through 6000 pounds of Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper and Nicaraguan filler leaves, with just 1% of the leaves being deemed high enough quality to make it into the final blend. Steve also hand-cut the molds used for the cigar himself, and of course he chose a difficult-to-roll double perfecto shape for the vitola. This production job was then entrusted to just a single pair of rollers - one for bunching, one for wrapping. The resulting cigars are in a class of their own, as you could imagine. Beautifully-packaged in individual coffin boxes, medium in body, & loaded with a complex array of spicy, savory, and sweet tasting notes, the Unicorn is truly a cigar for the record books. Only 1,000 sticks were produced, and they’re $100 a pop, but worth every penny. Get yours now or forever hold your peace.
