Pre draw was a nice earthy flavor and a slight sweetness. The Construction and burn was flawless. The main character to the cigar was a creamy sweet tobacco and was the main focus of the cigar. I also could find some slight nutty notes throughout. I enjoyed the cigar and would give it a 4 out of 5. I would like a little more complexity to the overall cigar.

The cigar itself has a very simple yet elegant appearance. The wrapper is a golden blonde color with minimal veins and a very silky smooth feel. As with most Connecticut wrappers I was expecting a very mild flavored mild bodied cigar. When I lit the eterno I was surprised. The first third consisted of a smooth creaminess on the draw, slightly sweet with a nice amount of white pepper on the retrohale, not an overbearing amount of pepper but a nice subtle amount. The draw and burn on the first third are perfect. The second third did bring on some changes but nothing drastic. More of the creaminess on the initial draw only now there is a more noticeable sweetness to it. The retrohale still consists of a nice touch of white pepper and spice. Draw and burn still perfect at this point. Was very impressed with the burn on this cigar. The final third brought more of that creamy sweetness but the pepper and spice on the retrohale died down a little.. Overall, I'm used to smoking a full bodied and full flavored cigar but this cigar was a nice change of pace. It wasn't a flavor bomb by any means but if you're used to smoking full bodied full flavored cigars and are looking for something that still has the pepper kick but a little more mellow and creamy then you'll find a winner with this stick.
