Gurkha's packaging and presentation on the Ninja is uncharacteristically simple, but the cigar is just as complex as the company's more expensive sticks. You'll get a dominant coffee-with-cream flavor and hints of cocoa and vanilla. It's a very relaxing medium-bodied stogie with an incredibly clean finish and solid construction.
My first Gurkha Ninja and comparing with the likes of El Baton, Maxx Fix, Brickhouse.....my take would be, great easy going afternoon smoke but construction is a step behind the others, cigar wrapper came apart and perhaps it was just the stick I had. Great draw, nice easy going smoke, a little more mild than the cubans I'm used to but I really enjoyed the smoke...shame about it coming a little undone and hopefully it's not a common thing. I would buy it again but I would place El Baton, Romeo wide churchill and maxx fix slightly above this stick based purely on construction.
