Foundation Cigars' Castle Senetjer pays tribute to the discovery of King Tut's tomb, 100 years ago.
The fifth Earl of Carnarvon (who resided in the legendary Highclere Castle) funded the expedition that led to the uncovering of this ancient Egyptian relic - one of the most important archaeological events in history. The fittingly distinguished Senetjer (named for the Egyptian word meaning "incense") was created by celebrated cigar blender Nick Mellilo to introduce a full-bodied smoke that's equal parts robust and refined.
Comprised of an Ecuadorian Habano Colorado wrapper over a Brazilian Mata Fina binder and an undisclosed mix of long-fillers, the Senetjer offers intriguing complexity with multi-dimensional tones of earth and exotic spices.
Limited to just 700 boxes produced, this rare release comes packaged in ornate dressing that resembles Pharaoh Tutankhamun’s tomb itself - a stunning addition to any collection.
