Nice leathery cigar. Burns well on the beach while surfcasting for Stripers!

My previous experiences with this cigar have been exemplary. The first of the new arrival appeared very good with the usual firm construction. The initial aroma pre-light was also as usual. Upon first light however the flavors were harsh, the peppery taste usually associated with the first light of this cigar were not apparent. There were no pleasant tastes of pepper. Just a harshness that defied normal taste associations. The cigar smoothed out somewhat after the first inch. There were very low levels of chocolate/coffee/leather that remained for the first half of the cigar. However by the time I had reached the end of that first 1/2 the harshness had returned. I had had enough. The second stick was no better. I would normally give this a 92 on the C/A scale. These two however have dropped to am 84 IMO. I will try another after letting them rest another month.
