Hailing from the Raices Cubanas factory in Danli, Honduras, El Diario is a different kind of La Palina. Not only is it the first La Palina to be manufactured outside of the Bahamas, but its also milder than its powerhouse predecessors, thanks to its well-aged blend of Central American tobacco leaves. These stogies start with a Honduran Corojo 99 rosado wrapper and two Honduran Criollo 98 binders, giving way to a balanced blend of Nicaragaun Corojo 99 and Honduran Criollo 98 filler leaves.Expect a sweet and spicy smoke with notes of cocoa powder, light pepper, and baking spice, whose painstaking construction ensures a straight burn and cool draw all the way down to the nub.
KB is the way to go. What an awesome smoke. The best of La Palina...so far.
