The Macanudo 1968 is a truly unique cigar. The aging process is done with tercios and charcoal wooden barrels using a blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers along with an exclusive propietary filler from the remote island of Ometepe. This blend is the perfect match for its Connecticut Habano binder and Honduran San Agustin wrapper. The end result is a wonderfully rich and oily, full bodied cigar with a delightful complexity of flavor. You will be greeted with earthy leather flavors, burnt cedar, and roasted coffee, followed by hints of licorice and pepper spice at the finish.
