Voted Cigar Aficionado #8 Cigar of 2016! Named for the founding father of Oliva Cigars, the Oliva Serie V Melanio is composed of aged Nicaraguan ligero tobaccos beneath a slick Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. The result is a well-balanced, full-bodied smoke with rich, nutty, and creamy character, along with the excellent craftsmanship we've come to expect from the Oliva cigar family. One of my favorite cigars. Everything is perfect about it and you know that all of them are the same - every cigar in the box and every box out there. I buy them every time they are on sale.

The Melanio is my go to stick and my humidor is never without them. I’ve been smoking these since 2015 and can honestly say I’ve never had a bad one. Very consistent in terms of the burn, easy draw and construction. One of the best tasting cigars I’ve ever smoked.

The Oliva Serie V Melanio is the best cigar I’ve ever had. I make sure to always have a few boxes in my humidor. Full flavor without being overpowering. Smooth and delicious! Razor sharp burn, ample amount of smoke output and I never have to touch it up. You can’t go wrong with this smoke.

I love this cigar! The two box deal brings the price down to a price point that makes it an "everyday" cigar. Nice robust flavor, and smooth spice. Absolute favorite cigar

The Melanio in Robusto size is my favorite cigar. Medium bodied with just the right amount of flavor and deep spice. Great value in this size cigar, and offers just the right amount of burn time.
