Alec Bradley American Classic Robusto is everything a stogie should be—well made, perfectly blended, and surprisingly affordable. These stogies start with a seldom-used Honduran Connecticut-seed wrapper leaf, which adds cream, toast, and a little bit of peppery spice. Underneath this leathery, silky leaf is two binder leaves—one from Honduras and one from Nicaragua—as well as Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers. This blend makes for a balanced, bready smoke with noticeable notes of coffee, cream, and a nice pepper kick on the finish.
These mild-to-medium-bodied beauties burn with the best of them, holding staggeringly long ashes and drawing effortlessly from start to finish. There’s no doubt in our minds that Alec Bradley American Classic will rank among the company’s absolute best.

The color sits well next to a bottle of blended scotch; preferably 12year old. The draw has yet to let me down but the construction is to be desired as the the uneven burn was bit a hassle. Full of flavor and and gives THEIR 2 more popular brands a definite run for-the-money considering the GREAT price. Smooth and mellow. Great medium smoke to add my overfilled cigar box!
