Gurkha Vintage Shaggy XO Dominican Cigars

The Gurkha Vintage Shaggy is a truly special cigar. A few years ago, Gurkha had a line of Pre-embargo Cuban cigars. Of course, those delicious and rare cigars sold very quickly and left a hole in Gurkha line-up of premium cigars. The pre-embargo smoke was simply delicious. Most people will tell you that what made that cigar so special was the Cuban tobacco that was in the filler. Well, according Kaizad Hansotia, CEO of Gurkha Cigars, it was the 8 year old Dominican wrapper that made it a hit. This 8 year old wrapper combined with 5 year old mixed Dominican and Nicaraguan filler and binder, creates a smooth, well balanced medium bodied smoke. The shaggy foot is more for aesthetics than anything else. It makes you feel like you just picked a cigar off the rollers table.
