Perdomo ESV 1991 may have been a hard act to follow, but the guys at Tabacalera Perdomo have always been known to have a few tricks up their sleeves. The new Perdomo Estate Selección Vintage 2002 features a core of earthy, spicy, and rich Nicaraguan binder and filler leaves from the 2002 harvest. This triple-fermented, cedar-aged blend is finished off with an Ecuadorian Connecticut for a creamy, sweet medium-bodied smoke, an Ecuadorian sun-grown for a stronger smoke with more pepper and cedar, or a Nicaraguan maduro for a medium-to-full-bodied beast of a smoke with flavors of cocoa, coffee, earth, and leather.
