Sporting a hot, modern look, Saint Luis Rey Reserva Especial cigars are still some of the most satisfying Honduran smokes in our humidor. Boasting bold full flavor and a pleasing aroma, these handsome handmades owe their savory tasting profile to a unique blend of Honduran, Nicaraguan and Peruvian tobaccos beneath a Nicaraguan binder and a dark and alluring Nicaraguan wrapper. Strong, smooth, and earthy-rich, Saint Luis Rey always hits the spot.
smooth, firm and full body. good texture. massive label can pull wrap if not careful.

My husband has smoked cigars for years and has tried them all. He used to smoke a brand that he swore was his favorite until he tried St. Luis Rey, now these are the only cigars he will smoke.

The big-ring cigars have been my favorites for years and this St. Luis Rey Reservation Especial Titan Maduro definitely hits ALL the bases for me. The taste is full, smooth, no harshness in either the initial draws or the final ones. The tobaccos are top rate, good dark Maduro flavor at the mid-point in the smoke. The burn is what you want to make of it---I take my time, get a good roll on the smoke and it burns with a nice white-gray ash. The construction is tops all the way. Nice smooth wrap, no separations at seams, and the cap is solid as a rock. I use a punch-cutter 90% of the time but I've also used a V-cutter several times and the punch/cut was smooth. This cigar's cap is solid but not hard, a sign of a cigar roller on top of his/her game. A friend gave me my first Titan Maduro. I ordered two boxes the next day and one was for him! Gotta take care of a friend like that! Let's take it down to the final puff---it's a damn good cigar for an excellent price. Whether as your daily smoker or an occasional treat, you won't go wrong. Enjoy 'em! I do!
