Cusano Cigars began as a boutique manufacturer in 1995 and experienced great success throughout the “Cigar Boom” era. In 1997, Cusano moved production to the Tabadom manufacturing facilities in Santiago, DR to accommodate their growth. To ensure the quality of the cigar was not compromised, Cusano recruited the renowned Henke Kelner to oversee the new production process. Henke was able to perfect the handmade blend by using unique tobacco sourcing and aging techniques from around the world. Cusano has preserved the product’s integrity throughout each transition, including the 2009 acquirement by Oettinger Davidoff Group and remains the industry’s standard for the affordable luxury cigar today.
