The La Aurora Especiales cigar was conceived with direct input from some of the world’s most experienced palates.

In keeping with the blend’s overarching theme of partnership and passion, roughly 100 retailers who visited La Aurora’s factory in the Dominican Republic over the course of six years sampled and critiqued blends developed by La Aurora master blender Manuel Inoa as contenders for the Especiales’ final blend recipe. Taking the massive amount of feedback received into consideration, Inoa ultimately decided on a precise blend of Cameroon-seed wrapper grown in Ecuador over a Dominican binder and filler leaves from the Dominican Republic and the U.S.A.

This unique creation process has yielded a home-run smoke with riveting rich character. Medium-full in body, the Especiales reveals tones of honey, caramel, wood, coffee, citrus, nut, leather, and more throughout its eventful slow burn.
