Excalibur Black Toro Cigars

Hoyo de Monterrey introduced the Excalibur cigar line in 1992 to circumvent global trade restrictions on the Hoyo brand during the U.S. cigar boom of the early 90s. Billed as flavor-heavy with moderate strength, the original Excalibur cigars quickly became a hit with cigar-crazed consumers of the era.

In the nearly 40 years that have since transpired, the Honduras-based Excalibur brand has evolved with the times and gained a loyal fan following all of its own. Blended in honor of the brand’s 40th anniversary, the Excalibur Black is a bolder, fuller smoke rolled using a saporous selection of fine tobaccos.

A dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper plays host to a sturdy Sumatra binder and a balanced mix of Honduran and Nicaraguan long-fillers, giving way to the Excalibur Black’s riotous rush of satisfying flavor. Staying true to the brand’s origins, the Black spoils the palate with rich taste but never overwhelms.

Available in three unique sizes, the Excalibur Black’s Toro (6 x 52) expression is the mid-sized vitola in the line, offering a balance of taste and strength that’s juuust right. Grab yours here.
