New Cigars 11.16.15.
In the weeks leading up to the holidays it always gets pretty crazy here @ BCP, and the annual madness has begun. Amidst the chaos we managed to introduce some excellent new cigar lines, as well as some sweet new gift sets from a certain ex-Hollywood lawyer that may help you cross off a couple of names on your seasonal shopping list. But first, since it’s a pretty big deal, let’s start off with…
The first Padron cigar to sport a Connecticut-seed wrapper, the highly anticipated Padron Damaso pairs prime Nicaraguan long-fillers with its silky top-leaf to bring us a rich mild-medium bodied smoke with Padron’s usual flawless construction and performance. This one easily falls into to the elusive “extremely flavorful lighter-wrapped cigars” category, and will give flavor-chasers a lot to chew on, including-but-not-limited-to: vegetal notes, red pepper, raw lumber, chocolate, dark cherry, vanilla bean, and almond. If this adventurous profile sounds like your cup’o tea, check out Brian’s full review and then grab a batch here for at least $40 cheaper than our competitors.
Now, about those gift sets I mentioned earlier……
Rocky Patel’s new Honduran, Nicaraguan, and Vintage gift packs each feature 6 of Rocky’s most beloved cigar blends in a snazzy gift box that has just ambiguous enough of a shape to keep your favorite aficionado guessing when it’s wrapped up under the tree. The Nicaraguan one also comes with an RP-branded cigar cutter, making it the giftiest of the three, but any one of these packs would be an awesome present -especially when you get it at up to a cool 10% off of MSRP. Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel Aged
Nick Perdomo’s new Habano Bourbon Barrel Aged cigars have also arrived right on time for your holiday herfing. Each Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel Aged cigar features an extremely well-rested wrapper leaf that has been aged for a minimum of 6 years before being laid to rest inside bourbon barrels for some additional nap time, ranging from 6 to 14 months. These leaves are then spun around the finest fillers that Nicaragua has to offer, and the resulting cigars hit that magical sweet spot between rich and smooth that all cigar makers aim for, but few deliver.
Available in your choice of Connecticut, Maduro, or Sun Grown wrappers, each ready to ship in a range of sizes, all of these barrel-aged beauts do, in fact, carry a subtle sniff of the firewater casks they were aged in, but only the most adept of palates will likely be able to detect it outright. Is that you? Snag a box on the cheap and find out here.
That’s it for now. Report back in a week or so and I’ll be serving up the good stuff yet again.
See ya real soon,
