Barn Cured Cigars
An integral, yet often unsung step in the creation of premium cigars is air-curing. After the tobacco leaves have been harvested, they’re hung in large, ventilated barns for many weeks to help the tobacco rid itself of moisture and jumpstart the process of developing its flavor characteristics. It's at this stage that the chlorophyll breaks down, transforming the tobacco leaves from the green color they sported on the plant to the brown shades we see when browsing our humidor. Master Blender, AJ Fernandez, knows how integral air curing is to the outcome of a fine cigar, and that’s why we’ve partnered with him to create Barn Cured, a three-blend line that pays homage to a leaf’s first step to becoming the handmades we love.
From the Barn to the Box—Savor Every Moment.
Barn Cured
Ecuadorian Sumatra Maduro, Nicaraguan tobacco core
With its natural tobacco sweetness, earth, leather, and warm spices, the full-bodied original expression of Barn Cured is meant to be smoked like a glass of bourbon—sipped and never rushed. Best of all, it’s priced for everyday enjoyment. Reach for the top shelf without reaching deep into your wallet and indulge!
Barn Cured Heritage Red
Ecuador Habano wrapper, Nicaraguan & Mexican tobacco core
Like the original Barn Cured blend chased with a shot of Fireball, Barn Cured Red emphasizes the pepper and spice, yet remains smooth and balanced. Notes of oak, leather, black pepper, and dark roast coffee sit atop a blanket of earthy spice, making Red a cigar you’ll be hard-pressed to forget. Like the original, it’s just as easy on the wallet without compromising flavor—just the way a cigar should be!
Barn Cured Heritage Black
Mexican San Andres wrapper, Mexican, Honduran, & Nicaraguan tobacco core
Completing the Barn Cured trifecta is Black, a dark-wrapped cigar that smokes like a candy bar. The power is still there, but you can expect notes of cocoa, coffee, sweet spices, and dashes of raisin and cashews. You could say it’s the perfect dessert smoke after a hearty filet mignon, except you’ll only need to pay porterhouse prices. Order now!
