The word “revenant” can bring different things to mind for different people. For the well-read, it’s simply a fancy word for a zombie. For cinephiles, it’s that movie where Leonardo Dicaprio ate a raw bison liver. And, for cigar lovers, it’s likely associated with Gurkha’s premium cigars.
In the past, Gurkha’s Revenant line was available in two wrappers: Mexican San Andrés and Honduran Corojo. Both of these varieties are back (from the dead, so to speak) and available in this sampler. What’s even more exciting about this sampler is the inclusion of a Connecticut variety that isn’t available anywhere else.
The specifics of these Revenant blends, however, are largely a mystery. While we know the previous two blends incorporated Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers, other fillers in the blends are undisclosed. As for the Revenant Connecticut, Gurkha hasn’t disclosed any blend details. What we do know is that each sampler will contain two sticks of each variety; six cigars in total. It is also worth noting that, unlike previous releases, these 6 x 50 Toros will not be box pressed.
So, whether you missed out on Gurkha’s Revenant smokes last time or you just want to enjoy them again, be sure to nab this sampler when it hits shelves in the coming days. Besides, you may not get another chance to try the Revenant Connecticut, so keep an eye on our Gurkha inventory.
