Acid Cigars are typically infused with hundreds of essential oils and botanicals .  Which might run afoul of the FDA proposal where they want to regulate any flavored cigars.

In the case of Acid Cigars,  it’s not the $10 dollar minimum that is the problem.  Acid Cigars may retail for for more the defined $10 dollars a stick, but the infused essential oils and botanicals might trigger FDA oversight meaning virtually no new Acid Products will be brought to the market place and existing ones would be filled with paperwork that would be akin to a brick wall for many of their other products.

The reason we are bringing this to your attention is because we believe when you are submitting your thoughts to the FDA regarding premium cigar regulation,  you should also mention the flavored / infused cigar aspect as well as the $10 dollar minimum.

Many individuals enjoy Premium Acid Cigars,  Acid Blondies and other Acid products.  This could potentially affect Makers Mark Cigars and Ted’s Handmade Cigars as well as other infused premium brands.

The point being that the proposed FDA’s definition is more encompassing than just the $10 dollars per stick.   Write to them today about your thoughts on the regulation proposal.
