Aganorsa Leaf’s Core Line Will Now Be Branded As La Validación

What’s in a name? Well, if you’re in the world of marketing, quite a bit. That may be why Aganorsa Leaf is planning a bit of a rebrand for its core lineup of cigars. As it stands, these blends are simply known as Corojo, Maduro, Connecticut, and Habano. That’s about to change.

As early as this summer, you can expect to see these somewhat generic names under a more original brand: La Validación. This new name comes complete with a revamped logo and packaging that will likely be featured at the PCA trade show this July.

According to Terence Reilly, Aganorsa Leaf’s VP of sales and marketing, the changes were fueled by a survey that they sent out to retail partners. Reilly stated “…the big takeaway is our cigars need to better reflect our company logo and image. We listened to this valuable feedback and have worked with a professional designer to create an image that is unmistakably Aganorsa.”

Now, if you’re currently a big fan of Aganorsa Leaf’s Connecticut, Corojo, Maduro, or Habano, no need to worry. The blends themselves aren’t changing at all. Next time you pick up a box though, you may notice some new packaging. All four blends will be available in 15-count boxes: Gran Robusto (5 x 54), Toro (6 1/4 x 52), and Gran Toro (6 x 58).
