Burrow’s Cigar Celebrations Spark Interest in Cincinnati

Back in 2020, LSU beat Clemson in the National Championship. Joe Burrow, LSU’s then-quarterback, celebrated the victory with a cigar. The rest is history.

Well, maybe not history, because after clinching the AFC North title at the end of the ’21-’22 regular season, Burrow celebrated the same way he did in his college days—with a fine cigar—and went viral again. The fans took note, and a newfound love of cigars has manifested in Cincinnati.

So far, the Bengals have enjoyed playoff success against the Raiders and the Titans, winning Cincinnati a place in the AFC Championship. This achievement is highlighted by the fact that Bengals fans haven’t seen their team win a playoff game since a 1991 outing against the Houston Oilers (remember them?).

With that in mind, it should come as no surprise that the Bengals faithful are now all in on Burrow, as well as his celebratory cigars. Local stogie shops are even starting to notice the trend. Not only are fans buying their favorite cigars, they’re also picking up the exact stick Burrow was seen smoking in the locker room: La Flor Dominicana’s Mysterio.

If you are looking to celebrate in the same style, we have plenty to choose from in our humidor. You can even find Burrow’s stick of choice while supplies last!
