OFC’s Bosphorus Cigars Shaping up to Be a Hit Blend

Depending on how much you pay attention to the cigar community, the name Ozgener may ring a bell. Tim Ozgener made a name for himself as the president of CAO, but in late 2010, he stepped down from the role following the merger of Swedish Match and Scandinavian Tobacco Group. Now, more than a decade later, he’s showing us that he still has plenty to give the world of cigars with his new blend: Bosphorus.

Manufactured under the brand Ozgener Family Cigar, the Bosphorus blend is making quite the splash. The B55 and B52 sizes each received an outstanding 93 rating from Cigar Aficionado, while the B54 and B50 earned a 90 and 92, respectively. Don’t put much stock in the scores of critics? Let’s dive into what you can expect if you plan to try one of these sticks for yourself.

The Bosphorus features flavor-packed Nicaraguan filler tobacco in dual Ecuadorian and Nicaraguan binders. Drape all of this in a silky Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper and you have a perfectly balanced cigar. The Bosphorus offers an array of flavor notes, from zesty pepper to sweet cream. These seemingly disparate flavors complement and temper each other to great effect, reminding cigar lovers that it’s still possible to make a truly original blend.

You can try out the Bosphorus (or any other Ozgener Family Cigars blend) by picking up a box here at Best Cigar Prices. As always, we’ll have them at the lowest prices possible. The Bosphorus is available in the following sizes:
B50 (4 x 50)
B52 (5 x 52)
B54 (6 ½ x 52)
B55 (5 ½ x 55)
