Nominate Your Favorite Cigars and Accessories for a Cigar Trophy

It’s that time of year again: the Cigar Trophy Awards have begun the process of accepting nominations for 2022. From June 1 – 14, you can visit the Cigar Trophy website to place your picks for the most noteworthy products of the past year.

Introduced by Cigar Journal in 1998, the Cigar Trophy Awards were designed to be an accolade delivered by the people. Everyday cigar lovers vote to decide on the nominees, and then vote on the nominees themselves. True, there are separate awards granted by Cigar Journal’s editorial staff (the Jury Awards), but these are secondary to the Cigar Trophy.

If you’re looking to participate in the nomination process, there are several categories to consider. You can pick your favorite brand, cigar line, and specific cigar of ‘22 from Cuba, the D.R., Honduras, Nicaragua, and an additional country of your choice. Other categories include the cigar line that offers the best value, the best cigar accessories, and even the best cigar lounge.

Just be sure that you submit your picks before June 14. After that the votes are tallied up to produce the final nominees in each category. Start mulling over your choices now and make sure your voice is heard!
