It looks like General Cigar is expanding their Macanudo Inspirado series even further with a new line of cigars: the Brazilian Shade. This marks the seventh entry for the Inspirado series, and if it’s anything like the other six, cigar lovers have reason to rejoice.
The wrapper that lends its name to the cigar is actually from Connecticut seed. However, instead of being grown in the Connecticut River Valley, this wrapper was cultivated in the Bahia area of Brazil. If that isn’t enough beautiful Brazilian tobacco for you, there’s even more Brazilian leaf in the filler blend—along with Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos to round it out.
The Macanudo Inspirado Brazilian Shade will also be available in two sizes: a Toro that is 6.5” with a 52 ring gauge ($10.49 per stick MSRP) and a Churchill measuring 7” with a 48 ring gauge ($10.99 per stick MSRP). Regardless of which size you prefer, you can find it here at Best Cigar Prices while supplies last.
Keep in mind that although BCP is getting this blend after it ships on May 4, inventory is going to be limited. Just 3,500 boxes are being produced, and much of our supply will be made available at our brick-and-mortar location. If you want a box, your best bet is to stop by our humidor in Eastern Pennsylvania. Not in the area? Give our customer service team a call once we’re stocked and we’ll do our best to get a box (or two) mailed out to you!
