The Latest Diesel Cigar Will Be Hitting Our Shelves Soon

Diesel has a limited-edition cigar called the Crucible that is set to debut next week, and it looks like one to remember. A product of collaboration between A.J. Fernandez and Scandinavian Tobacco Group’s Justin Andrews, the Crucible is being distributed by The Forged Cigar Co.

The Diesel Crucible is a distinctive Toro (6 x 52) that boasts a blend of Nicaraguan and Honduran filler tobaccos with a Nicaraguan binder. The wrapper leaf is an Ecuadoran Habano—chosen by A.J. Fernandez himself—that has undergone a significant aging process. If you want a smoke that has a range of spiced flavors to offer, then look no further.

The Crucible also marks the final entry in Diesel’s “Elixir Trilogy,” a collection that includes their Delirium and Hair of the Dog cigars. Like these previous entries in the trilogy, the Crucible will be a limited release, with only 3,000 boxes being produced. Of course, Best Cigar Prices was still able to nab a few boxes for our on-site humidor.

We’ll have a limited supply of 10-count boxes of the Diesel Crucible for those who are able to stop by our physical location in Eastern Pennsylvania. Our brick-and-mortar humidor and pub can be found right off of Interstate 80 (and not far from I-81, either)! If you’re looking for the perfect road trip for this spring weather, consider a BCP pilgrimage soon. The Crucible is expected to start shipping to retailers on April 26, and has an SRP of $9.99 per cigar.
