Espinosa’s Collaboration with Guy Fieri Gets a Connecticut Wrapper

When Erik Espinosa decides to create a blend with a star chef like Guy Fieri, it’s appropriate to expect a cigar with a lot of flavor. That’s exactly what they delivered when Espinosa debuted the Knuckle Sandwich last year in 2022. Whether you opted for the smoothly satisfying Habano or the deeply rich Maduro, there was much to love about this collaborative effort.

Now, in 2023, it’s looking like the gift that keeps on giving. Not only are the Habano and Maduro varieties still available, but the blend now has a Connecticut wrapper option too! As with the previous versions, the Connecticut cigars will be available as a Robusto, Short Churchill, and Toro, nicknamed J, G, and H, respectively. The letters are abbreviations for names of important people in Guy Fieri’s life.

So what’s different with this new Knuckle Sandwich? Only the delightfully light Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. Otherwise, you’ll find the familiar blend of Nicaraguan filler tobaccos and the Nicaraguan binder that was found in previous Knuckle Sandwich releases. Of course, as any cigar smoker will tell you, a different wrapper imparts an entirely unique flavor on a given blend.
