Chogüí is a brand that has always managed to fly under the radar. The boutique Dominican company seemed to have fallen off the face of the earth back in 2018, but now it’s back in a very big way. Cigar distributor Venture 1492 has taken it upon itself to breath new life into the Chogüí brand with the new Dos 77 Rogusto Extra.

Crafted at the Manufactura Rivas factory in the Dominican Republic, this cigar’s filler utilizes medio tiempo tobacco from a Piloto Cubano varietal. The Dos 77 also has a different wrapper to set it apart from the original. It features a sun grown corojo wrapper that lends an earthy, nutty flavor to the blend.
