Press Release: Eddie Ortega Brings Back Cubao Cigars for IPCPR 2013

Original Cubao #4 Robusto cigars (4 7/8 x 50)

June 6, 2013 (Sunrise, Fla.) — Ortega Premium Cigars officially announced today that the company will be re- introducing the CUBAO line at the IPCPR show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Like their current flagship line the Serie D, Cubao will be manufactured at the My Father factory in Esteli, Nicaragua by the Garcia Family.

According to Eddie Ortega, “I’ve been meaning to re-introduce Cubao for a while now, just had my hands full launching and promoting the Serie D which was the first brand under the Ortega name this past year, I think now is the right time to re-introduce the Cubao.”

Although the blend remains the same, the packaging will change. The company did away with the scrounge look on the boxes and now have a much cleaner look. The sizes have also been scaled back to 6 sizes and will be available in boxes of 10 cigars only.
