If you’re a Sons of Anarchy fan it’s time to get excited because they are getting their very own cigar! The motorcycle outlaw drama airs on FX and is already five seasons deep with a huge following. The cigar, the Black Crown Sons of Anarchy Edition, will debut in late August, right around the time the sixth season of the television show returns.
If you’re a fan of the show you already know that plenty of cigar smoking takes place and that the highly anticipated sixth season starts on September 10th. This is the first time the hit show and a cigar have partnered up but it seems to be a growing trend these days. CAO made cigars for HBO’s The Sopranos, a line that was recently discontinued and Ted’s partnered up with the star of A&E’s Duck Dynasty earlier this year to make the Duck Commander.
The cigars themselves will be through Meier & Dutch’s Black Crown brand and according to Halfwheel, five vitolas will be produced at General Cigar’s HATSA factory in Danli, Honduras. A full line of accessories has also been planned through Meier & Dutch including a leather humidor, a cutter, a three-finger leather case, pewter ashtray and a second humidor will be released around the holidays.
Details on the cigars have yet to be released but Meier & Dutch plans on heavily promoting the Sons of Anarchy line in retail brick and mortar shops.
