Would you buy a Smart Humidor ?

As you might have known, humidors range from only a few dollars to thousands of dollars for a Liebherr Humidor or a smart Humidor.

Clearly a Liebherr is a great humidor, but it’s also very costly. The humidor has MagicEye with digital temperature display and digital humidity display, internal LED lighting and it adjusts the humidity and temperature automatically.

A humidor like this is also fairly attractive.

We are talking about a high end feature rich smart humidor that typically are coupled with an increased cost. There are dozens of brand names and models that are moving into this line of humidor.

A high end smart humidor would be one that keeps track of the inventory you have, with an iPhone or Android app that allows for instant notifications if humidity or temperatures fall outside of established parameters or tells you what your inventory is. Typically a humidor like that would cost more than a traditional one. Some believe there is just more to break with a device like that, others believe that it means your cigars will be kept in a flawless computer controlled environment that practically guarantees your cigars will be as perfect as possible.
